Spanish fashion photographer based in New York.

Maku studied media degree and a master in photography and began her career in Madrid in 2006 working at cinema as a still photographer.

In 2011 she created Monster Studio and started to collaborate with different publications in fashion and commercial photography,

shooting editorial portraits, campaigns and fashion editorials for clients like Chus Burés, GreyAnt, Carla Colour, Adetacher or Levi’s

and publishing her work in magazines including Marie Claire Spain, Marie Claire Mexico, Stylist France, Schön!, Nylon, Reflex, Tendencias, Vanidad, NEO2, Blanc, Atlas or

The Fashionisto among others.

Since 2012 she has been a teacher of Fashion Photography in the Fashion Design Degree at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and in the Véritas University of San José, Costa Rica.

Currently, she lives in New York as a lens-based visual artist, where she is working as a fashion photographer and developing her personal projects.
